Our Story

You can drive through the Napa Valley and be surrounded by vines - stunning from the road, stretching across rolling hillsides as far as the eye can see. But you don't truly understand how incredible these vines are until you're up close and personal with them.

Most grow for decades, cared for by hand, tended through drought and frost, producing some of the most celebrated grapes in the world. And no two vines are the same. They are individually beautiful - gnarly, knotted, rustic, and perfectly themselves.

When their time in the vineyard is done, or supply no longer meets demand, they get pulled from the ground and burned.

We thought they deserved better, and wanted to give them a second chance.

Vine & Ember was born from the simple idea of upcycling these old vines being removed from Napa vineyards and give them a second life as handcrafted home goods. Each piece we make carries the grain, the character, and the history of wine country - bringing a sliver of the Napa Valley directly to your home.

We work directly with local vineyards to source material that would otherwise be burned, which is exactly where the Ember in our name comes from . Every purchase supports both the craft and the community - with 10% of every order going directly to The Boys and Girls Club of Napa Valley, giving back to our local youth and future leaders.
